The summer wind in Menorca is like a whisper that comes from the Mediterranean. It slides gently on the skin, and brings us the freshness of the shade of the pines and olive trees.
For me this breeze on Menorca is also a messenger, bringing the scents of the salty sea, wild herbs and cistus flowers. This… wind tells a story, that of the fishermen who leave before dawn, of the waves that break on the cliffs, and of the white villages that slowly wake up at dawn.
I love the wind of Menorca, which is not only a force of nature, it is an invisible companion, a breath of life that unites the earth, the sea and the sky in a subtle and delicate harmony. It is the sweet and uninterrupted song of an island that, lulled by its breezes, breathes to the rhythm of the sea.

Originally from the tranquil scenery of Switzerland, Patrick Piccinelli set forth on an enriching academic journey that took him to the distinguished corridors of ECAL (University of Art and Design, Lausanne, Switzerland), a stronghold of artistic brilliance on the global frontier. The respected tradition of flawless typography for which Switzerland is famed, coupled with the deep-seated influences of Swiss graphic design, known for its austere, minimalistic, and refined aesthetics, significantly guided Piccinelli’s artistic path. His palette is firmly rooted in geometric minimalism, a stylistic reverberation reminiscent of the illustrious “Zürich movement.” This era of artistic zeal was pioneered by notable figures such as Max Bill, Richard Paul Lohse, and Verena Loewenberg, luminaries who were the frontrunners of geometric or constructed artistry. His works have recently been acquired by collectors in the United States, Japan and Europe.
