About this artwork
This set is twelve separate negatives hand printed onto a single sheet of archival paper, and Like all my works, each photograph is hand printed in the darkroom. The negatives are individually manipulated and once the print is made the photograph is then bleached and toned, using two different toners. When I tone I judge the times with my eyes, not the clock. So each image, although from the same negative may look totally different from the next,…
making each photograph unique.
