In this "Eugenics as art" series, I am focusing on drawing attention to the eugenics experiments that are quietly permeating our technologically and scientifically advanced society in this new work. With a whimsical, artistic style blending art, science, and genetic mutations; I present a fantastical animal that shows the hybridization of various distinct traits fused into one mythical creature after another. What endgame do these… eugenics experiments have? What are the scientists trying to achieve? What is the perfect earthly specimen? What will our world look like when they achieve their mission?
