About this artwork
In this work entitled Big Data, I take the exploration of simulated space to a point of tension where geometric architecture collides directly with the speed, flow, and saturation of digital information. While in other pieces the physical structure or ordered perspective supports the canvas, here the space is invaded by the invisible mass of data that permeates our contemporary reality.
In the center of the composition I construct a centripetal… structure: a curved framework of multicolored lines that evokes fiber optics, the electrical impulse.
Color operates as an emitting frequency within the twilight. The palette does not respond to sunlight, but to the luminescence of circuits, radars, and digital interfaces.
Big data is a visual cartography of intangibility: the translation of a landscape saturated with information where physical structures dissolve and reorganize under the incessant force of the data flows that we inhabit daily.
