About this artwork
Interdimensional Portal is an intricate acrylic painting on canvas that reinterprets an architectural photograph. Drawing its initial inspiration from a real architectural space, in this artwork I transformed the structural details through a meticulous roller technique. This process builds an atmospheric depth, adding layered surfaces of color and texture that create entirely new dimensions of information, shifting the source material into a new…
visual realm.
I decided to center the painting around a vibrant, fluorescent circle. This luminous element is far from static; it is designed to be the absolute point of entry for the viewer. Once captivated by this intense core, the circle initiates a dynamic, directed journey, propelling the viewer's eye to travel across the complex image, exploring the textures, fragmented lines, and underlying architecture that defines the composition. The circle acts as the literal portal, guiding the eye through a multi-layered visual experience.

Her works explore spaces of distorted and fragmented architecture, employing geometric abstraction while drawing on multiple styles, techniques, and layers of information. Through her paintings, she seeks to evoke in the viewer a sense of dissociation, overwhelming feeling, and bewilderment, inviting them to expand their perceptions and explore a multidimensional reality brimming with possibilities.
