About this artwork
This artwork is one of a small series of paintings was composed in Jugendstil fashion. The artist is very much pleased by the art and fashion of that time and decided to create a few paintings in this style himself. The title refers to the smiling flowers in the vase, no real flowers, of course. The whole picture breaths the elegance of the fashion at that time.
