About this artwork
As I painted this piece, I surrendered completely - to the moment, to the process, to the beauty unfolding before me. I let go of control and allowed the creation to teach me, to guide me, to show me what needed to be expressed. The still waters and dramatic sky became my meditation on what happens when we stop fighting and simply allow ourselves to be vessels for something greater. True creation flows through surrender.
