With this painting, Philippe Fares, remains in the tradition of EVASION HASARDEUSE.
Indeed he uses again, square mesh welded mesh panels, plated on a linen canvas.
The sheets of metal correspond in fact to the levels of a seabed, the red colored points are the passage of the level curves of the ground.
The magic points are, in the language of the Navy, the cartographic peaks of the bottom of the seas.
The artist materialized them by midnight… blue quadrangular forms, which come in extra thickness of the frame.
This work, half-painting, half-sculpture, expresses the visual artist's vision of life, through the prism of rationalization.
