About this artwork
The minotaur is a columnar sculpture part of a series of five. The assembly with the schist stone makes the whole thing majestic. All these materials come from the depths of time. A well-known mythological evocation, Prometheus represents repeated suffering only easing at night, I present him in a posture of suffering, he is hung by his hands and feet and a vulture devouring his entrails.

Philippe Rude, raised among stained glass and artistic ironwork, is a contemporary sculptor and conceptual artist.
