About this artwork
This work is part of a series created shortly after my arrival in Rome in 2010 and reworked in 2026. Berlin, the capital of my country, with its scars and tormented history. I chose a view of the Brandenburg Gate with the Wall. The canvas expresses a void: there are no complementary colors!
The artwork, very sturdy, is painted on wood and has a certain weight to it. It hangs on the wall using metal eyelets, as you can see in the photo. It has a… sculptural quality and can also simply be leaned against the wall.
