About this artwork
In my work I played with the lively energy of pop art and the depth of the abstract, using acrylics for an intense staining effect. This piece expresses the collision of intense and unbridled emotions, where each brushstroke reveals a story of passion. You invite the viewer to immerse themselves in the emotional turmoil, bringing an explosion of vitality and creative dialogue to every space.

« If we assign a place to art by designating it a space in which it must act, then we run the risk of rendering it harmless. Art must be subversive. -Anselm Kiefer »
Pietro Daresta is an experienced artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in France, the United Arab Emirates, and Monaco. His works explore the themes of humanity and its frailties, the passage of time, and the observation of the universe, where everything is destined to change. In Daresta's most recent compositions, he has developed a more personal artisitc approach, moving from the sphere of minimalism and the conceptual towards the informal.
