Fallen is inspired by retired musicians who didn't really make it, so they have to play at parties or restaurants in holiday resorts. There is a lot of
melancholy involved which always catches my attention.
Painted in a 'fast' and loose way, layer by layer and finally adding realistic autumn leaves so it feels like it's the end of the season. Fallen also has the word fall in it.
It is painted in a abstract-expressionistic / neo-expressionistic… style, combined with pop art and semi-realistic elements (autumn leaves and hat)
It has thick layers of acrylic paint, combined with spray paint, graffiti ink and a mat varnish.
The painting comes with a wire on the back and is ready to hang!
