About this artwork
As part of the series Reconsidered Artifacts, Three Miles Deep reimagines the photograph as not only an artifact of documentation, but also as a medium ripe for invention. By emphasizing, rather than correcting, the electronic signatures of digital processing, I use digital artifacts as catalysts for imagination and emotion.
