About this artwork
In my work I fuse the rawness of carbonized wood with the strength of cement. This sculpture embodies the tensions and harmonies between nature and urbanity by taking on a form that appears both broken and unshakeable. It brings a powerful, almost meditative energy to any space and inspires reflection on our own attitudes towards progress and tradition.
