“Compression Field” is the second work in the STATIK series and marks a state of maximum compression.
Layer by layer, a structure is created that not only makes pressure visible but also stores it within itself.
The surface appears closed and calm, almost compact.
But beneath this apparent stability lies a latent movement – a state of tension that eludes direct access.
The composition refuses a clear resolution.
What initially appears static… reveals itself to be a system under sustained stress.
A work poised between control and inner tension.
