About this artwork
This canvas made from autumnal colours reminds me of the different observations I can have when looking at nature. The green is still a little there with the leaves of the trees, the yellow of the sun is still sometimes generous but it is more flat, the Sienna colour for the humus and the wood which are more present. The plants are preparing to face the winter which regenerates before the explosion of spring. The black lines structure the composition…
by letting the void and the colours evolve and almost free themselves from the support of the canvas to give a burst of life.

Rimp is a talented painter from France whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Inspired by artists like Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Keith Haring, he developed his own style combining cubist influences and Mayan art.
