About this artwork
This stencil work consists of a single line which structures the composition. Small lines add movement and dynamism to the whole, a nod to the world of comic strips that I love. A contrast is immediately created between the very precise outline and the color in these lines. By using spray paint, the colors are managed here by different layers creating a gradient, a mixture of colors reminiscent of the vaporous side of the gases of the stars which…
surround us. The pattern represents heads, some of which could have come from Star Wars, a major pop influence for many, including me.
It is therefore a journey in light years that I propose to you, in a distant, very distant galaxy where life is expressed in different forms known to us and yet governed by the same physical laws as our world.
