About this artwork
In this work, partly made with a stencil, a man sends a kiss represented by the heart sign coming out of his mouth. The ambivalence of this gesture questions the fact that the same act performed in different ways can become pleasant or unpleasant for the person who receives it.
On this piece, there is also a game of opposition between a very expressive, gestural and colorful background, above which we find clear lines which reveal the paper. Small… lines accompany the movement of the curves of the white line, adding movement and expressiveness reminiscent of the world of comics.
An effect of sharpness and blur through the use of the spray gives depth to the work and a texture that can be found on painted walls in the city, linking this work to the urban art movement, the necessary speed execution of a prepared composition but which leaves room for instinct, which is constructed, between wild and organized.
