About this artwork
White as snow, these two birds become purely symbolic thanks to the shift in photographic focus: it is placed on the real garden, on the trees and statues, thus removing the main subject (the birds) from this reality. All that remains in the foreground, filling most of the frame, are two tufts of vaporous, cottony feathers, two immaculate, fragile, and trembling beings, moving and poetic.
