About this artwork
Portrait of one of my favourite trees in Sintra, Portugal. Its backward arch and seemingly disheveled branches create a feeling of motion that force the eye to wander all over the image, keeping one's attention for hours. This photograph works best when printed large. I have this one hanging in my living room and it is an immediate centrepiece of conversation for guests. I often catch myself looking at print for hours when I want to meditate or just…
