The hummingbird flowing honey out of the ball in the boy's hands, burning the worms. The sense of naivety, naturally on children, kills the menacing threat here. And those floating hummingbirds filling the picture completes a warming naive and bit of ethereal magical scene. Honey burning worms somehow comes from Kafka's Metamorphosis, it's a constant instinctive… inspiration
