About this artwork
Second drawing for my late grandfather, based on a highly meaningful memory of him. When he instinctively threw all the money in the wallet for an abandoned lost child on the street.
In that cold afternoon, this poor little girl at her (maybe) 7, in the traffic between the cars, sad lost and lonely with the head down after another unsuccessful round of begging money. As the traffic light went green, grandfather felt that scene devastate his heart,… then desperately threw all the money in the wallet for her and shouted 'Take it! Go buy some food!'
One being so massively rude, gross, bossy and difficult, could also be instinctively protective, specially with children. The drawing clearly represents this. Those three stars represents Holy Trinity, the Spiritual acting within us.
No previous sketch, the idea and the full drawing came at once
Pencil on paper (thin straight paper, about 75g or less)
