About this artwork
This is a personal favorite. It started as an untitled piece (no much thought but a simple sketch took from another idea, still incubated for a painting), and ended up liking more and adding the flowers around which came the title ('Jard' from Jardim, means Garden).
Long hours and layers and layers of pencil light greys (sometimes is not enjoyable to do this, but this time it was really good, still recall the great energy of it, more than therapeutical),… and few more weeks, the drawing was done. Added golden lines in the end, because gold is always welcome
