About this artwork
First of Conectis Sensis drawings, done late January 2024. No particular idea or sketch in mind, just pick up a pencil and see what it comes. It has been this way for these months, although I had first planned for this year to go for the canvases, I ended up picking up these small pieces of recycled paper scattered around and it felt easier to try these drawings.
I think it's possible to see the balance in the figures: black panther figure representing… aggressiveness, the white dove a common sign of peace, and the female figure making the in between as she shed bits of light in the dark spot on the left. Lighting the dark theme comes once again. And baroque ornaments will constantly appear on my works, for obvious fascination for them
