About this artwork
This might be, unconsiciously, about global warming and a very distant possible future of Earth (although the cricket's thing sure it comes from a James Jean's painting entitled 'Crickets'. Possibly my favorite painting ever:… pure visual poetry as I recall someone's comment)
The piece of ice at the feet's figure came for accident and it added the global warming meaning on the picture (I read a lot about those 'happy accidents' that surrounds the act of making art, and it really exists. I really embrace them and fully accepts them)
There's one more of this done last year, and been thinking of more
- Gouache, Acrylic, Ballpoint Pen, Nupastel and Golden Paint on paper, about 200 g/m² (a bit thick)
