About this artwork
Rogue. The 550-page Cochrane review clarifies that the Roche drug Oseltamivir/Tamiflu is unsuitable for the prevention and treatment of influenza. Roche, which earned approximately €13 billion from Tamiflu between 1999 and 2014, states: "The decision of 100 regulatory authorities worldwide... confirms that Tamiflu is an effective drug for the treatment and prevention of influenza infection." So much for that.

Rolf Lorenz works primarily with acrylic paints on canvas and brings a rich background in painting, film, and photography. His technique is experimental, blending a wide variety of materials and uniting classical painting with narrative elements. His style addresses political and social themes, which he powerfully commentates on and critically interprets. His works possess great emotional power: His art denounces injustices, shakes people up, and challenges the viewer to observe and reflect.
