Rolf Lorenz works primarily with acrylic paints on canvas and brings a rich background in painting, film, and photography. His technique is experimental, blending a wide variety of materials and uniting classical painting with narrative elements. His style addresses political and social themes, which he powerfully commentates on and critically interprets. His works possess great emotional power: His art denounces injustices, shakes people up, and challenges the viewer to observe and reflect.
