About this artwork
I saw a young girl with her mother at a music festival in India. Her neatly braided hair adorned with fresh pink flowers stayed with me long after that evening.
This painting is a reflection of that fleeting moment - a reminder of innocence, tradition and the beauty of everyday rituals . For some it would spark nostalgia of childhood memories and for others, it would echo the warmth of belonging.
