It was like coming out of a tunnel.
I turned a corner and there it was, that view of the hills in the distance. It seemed like it had been waiting for me, patient and strong. It was clear twilight and there was no bird song and no wind or fog. No wires and computers.
I felt like sitting down just to be in that presence. No need to take a photo. That vision has been imprinted on my mind ever since.
