About this artwork
I used the motif of flowers to represent the idea of reincarnation. In creating this work, I used acrylic and silkscreen printing to explore the dynamic interplay of texture and color. The flowers in this work are a bold exploration of emotions expressed in chaotic yet harmonious patterns on paper. I aimed to encapsulate the feeling of raw and wild energy and invite viewers to experience the complexity of emotions colliding and dancing on the same…

大村正一 Shoichi Omura Among artists, the artist who had the greatest influence on him was the sculptor Alberto Giacometti. He was inspired by his approach as an artist, which was to set himself the mission of depicting reality as it is, and to create through constant pursuit and exploration. He primarily works with acrylic and oil paints, as well as Japanese mineral pigments, and his background lies in his Japanese origins. He intricately blends his personal imaginations with photography, creating multi-layered, hybrid compositions on canvas through his only method. Omura endeavors to ‘restore the power of painting’, presenting a sense of modern reality in his pieces, with a distinct focus on his interest .
