About this artwork
I made this piece as an interior decoration for my room. I painted Jimi Hendrix on one side of the blinds and a skeleton on the other side with acrylic paint. It's large in size, so it makes an impact when displayed in a room. 大村正一 Shoichi Omura Among artists, the artist who had the greatest influence on him was the sculptor Alberto Giacometti. He was inspired by his approach as an artist, which was to set himself the mission of depicting reality as it is, and to create through constant pursuit and exploration. He primarily works with acrylic and oil paints, as well as Japanese mineral pigments, and his background lies in his Japanese origins. He intricately blends his personal imaginations with photography, creating multi-layered, hybrid compositions on canvas through his only method.
