About this artwork
After the harvest, the land reveals its underlying structure. Rows of stubble trace the contours of the field, following gentle undulations that have been shaped by seasons, weather, and cultivation. The wide sky and distant tree lines create a sense of openness, while the subtle variations of color and texture invite a slower, more attentive gaze.
Part of my Near Home series, this photograph explores the quiet beauty of familiar landscapes. Rather… than seeking dramatic moments, I am interested in places that reveal themselves gradually through observation. Here, the harvested field becomes a record of time—of growth completed, cycles fulfilled, and the calm pause before renewal begins again.
