Soft winter light spreads across the fields near Fellerich, diffused by a layer of cloud. The landscape unfolds in gentle gradients—green surfaces lightly touched by snow, distant lines dissolving into the horizon, and a sky that seems to breathe rather than shine.
The sun remains veiled, its presence felt more than seen. It does not dominate the scene but quietly shapes it, softening contrasts and allowing forms to emerge gradually.
This work… is part of my ongoing observation of the landscapes surrounding my home. I return to these fields repeatedly, attentive to subtle changes in light, atmosphere, and season, where even the most familiar views reveal new tonal relationships.
My approach remains minimal and attentive. Rather than altering the scene, I refine what is already present—balancing tones, clarifying textures, and preserving the natural atmosphere. The intention is not to dramatize, but to allow the image to unfold with its own quiet rhythm.
