About this artwork
Points of View is born from the simple yet complex act of looking: it's my gaze, but it also aims to be everyone's gaze. When I paint, I think of a train window, that threshold that separates inside from outside and transforms the landscape into tears, stains, and reflections. Here I've tried to convey that fragmented, fluid, yet intensely emotional vision.
The title "Points of View" suggests precisely this: each person who stops before the painting… brings their own horizon, their own travel memories, and sees what they see. For me, it is also the reflection of a personal moment, the view from my window during a trip, transformed into signs, textures, and contrasts. I invite the observer to pause, to seek their own point of view in the folds of the painting, and to let themselves be swept away by the sensation of movement and time.
