Sook Kim is an artist based in South Korea whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in India and China. Her central theme is the cockscomb flower. Kim hopes that people live their lives like flowers and that her compositions bring about their happiest memories. Through the layering of oils, she gives the image additional mass and dimension, harmonizing the interpretation of three-dimensional shapes with formative variations.
