In my work I have tried to capture the tranquil and meditative essence of oriental art, with an eye towards realism. The use of acrylics and oils gives depth to the colors and texture. Stefania Ormas is an award-winning artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and Belgium. Her figurative works, which oscilate between realism and pop art, are representations of women, in all their facets. Some of Ormas' pieces are a denunciation of contemporary society. Whereas her florals, or depicions of cacti, are an attempt to reconcile herself with her homeland.
