About this artwork
It's just a rushing sound and there's no ups and downs. Life is made up of ups and downs that give existence meaning, but every now and then there are phases when all I perceive is a rushing sound. This monotony is not what I'm after and it feels like time is just passing by. It's probably because my hamster wheel is starting to wobble, which is a good thing and is crying out for change, and to break out of this rushing sound I blindly reach into…
my drawer of paints and tools and suddenly there's no more noise to be heard. Applied thickly so that it gets quieter and quieter and the music in the background gets louder. This creates structures that you can feel and just like in life, you have to feel it, sense it, experience it, be brave and simply listen to your inner voice, then everything sounds like the most beautiful tone and the rushing becomes a colorful hustle and bustle full of joy.
