About this artwork
As birds that specialize in nocturnal hunting, owls differ from other birds through specific anatomical features and their very typical shape. The body is stocky and the head, compared to other birds, is noticeably large and rounded. In particular, the barn owl shown is a very bright, long-legged owl that has no feathered ears. Their most striking identifying features include their heart-shaped face and relatively small, black eyes. She sits on a… rusty metal pole and peers for prey. In my artwork I captured the wisdom of an owl. The realistic details and warm colors exude calm and bring the majestic presence of nature into any home. I was inspired by the depth of the night sky and the silent gaze of the owl. This painting is a tribute to the beauty and mysterious nature of these fascinating creatures.
« My inspirations come from my deep love for nature and animals. If the viewer of my artistic work feels this passion, I have achieved everything! »
