About this artwork
After 150 years of extinction, the WOLF returned to Germany in 2000 and has been causing controversial discussions ever since. With herd protection measures and the dissemination of knowledge about the way of life of wolves, a low-conflict coexistence between wolves and humans is possible even in our densely populated Central Europe. The reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone Park in the USA in the 1990s brought nature there back into balance. … In this work I experimented with acrylic and oil, as well as collage techniques, to create an expressiveness that visualizes longing and transformation. The expressionist style emphasizes the emotional connection between humans and nature, while the figurative representation expresses the inner power and mysticism of both worlds. It will ignite a vibrant energy in any home that inspires thought and feeling.
« My inspirations come from my deep love for nature and animals. If the viewer of my artistic work feels this passion, I have achieved everything! »
