About this artwork
The littering of our waters plays a major role in climate change. Beaches are flooded with garbage and garbage islands of unmanageable size are forming on the oceans. There is no room for life! Water dwellers ingest plastic parts as food and die miserably or they get entangled in rubbish, fate is the same. This is how we promote species extinction! We humans deprive ourselves of a basis of food and livelihood, not to mention the consequences of microplastics.… Nature doesn't need us - but we need an intact nature! The three-dimensional dolphin made of Styrodur has got caught in the fishing nets and has no chance of surfacing to breathe. Even the turtle pictured will not survive the food it has eaten.
« My inspirations come from my deep love for nature and animals. If the viewer of my artistic work feels this passion, I have achieved everything! »
