About this artwork
The poles are important to life around the world. Changes there affect sea levels, climate, humans, as well as many animal and plant species. I wanted to show this drama for some animal species in the picture “Unheard Screams”.
Penguins need cold, their baby feathers are not equipped for wet conditions. They die miserably before their lives have really begun.
Climate change is now making it difficult for polar bears. The closed ice cover, which… is essential for their survival, melts and the animals remain on land. The polar bears spend the long winters and spring on the pack ice.
Seals need large ice floes to protect them from orcas and to house their babies until they can dive and hunt on their own.
For some animal species, the end seems almost unavoidable because the process can no longer be stopped. We must understand that these dramatic effects are just the beginning!!!
« My inspirations come from my deep love for nature and animals. If the viewer of my artistic work feels this passion, I have achieved everything! »
