Inspired by my wife and our… cat asleep, "Blue Morpho" merges the holographic nature of our physical world with Gustav Klimt’s influence. The matrix-like underpainting shows through, leaving some forms incomplete, reflecting my inner workings and imagination. Alchemical symbols and childhood memories emerge in the dreamlike imagery, while native Brazilian birds add a sense of invasiveness and serenity. The painting transports viewers to their own fanciful worlds, making it a truly otherworldly experience.
