BADASS, 2009
An American singer, songwriter, and rapper whose style alternates between rock, hip hop and country music, with his musical output has tended to be in the country and rock styles. His 1999 single Cowboy is considered a pioneering song in the country rap genre. His music has been described as a cross between Run-DMC, Lynyrd Skynyrd and AC/DC.
In 2009, Kid Rock launched his private label beer, BADASS, out of spite as a response to the… iconic American beer maker Anheuser-Busch being purchased by Belgian giant InBev. He was inspired to start his own Michagen based, all American beer company to instill “American pride” in the beer industry.
