He has been described as an actor who reconfigured “the concept of classic movie stardom for his performances on the screen and stage.”
This is one of the few “serious” pictures from my day with Danzel.
His movie persona is tough, committed, serious, dramatic and varied.
Today he was a comedian, the first and only time I’ve ever seen pictures of Danzel Washington clownishly laying… on a studio floor, standing in the center of the studio stage mimicking comedians of 40 years earlier, or dressed in white holding his naked toes.
Here is the classic Denzel.
It was a once in a lifetime experience.
