About this artwork
He likes to sit in the bars of Montreal and observe different situations. In this case, he chose a couple who were arguing, and the woman, who dominated, was setting him conditions. He decided that the composition was exciting and created this small format work, which he called “not yet.”

Steven Lamb is an award-winning artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Brazil. Creating in a distinctive style which he describes as being both whimsical and grotesque, he views his works as a tool for social commentary, not to criticize, but rather, to amuse and entertain. Lamb takes viewers on a journey through the streets of Montreal and Paris, often portraying café scenes, circuses, musicians, and clowns.
