About this artwork
Only recently I noticed that every tree in the park has a number. These are discreetly painted on the tree bark with neon paint. Counting them certainly has a purpose for the gardeners who look after them. This way there is no confusion if a tree has to be cut down due to illness. However, it remains a strange image for the park's guests when planned and structured nature is counted so visibly. The picture is painted with acrylic on canvas and covered…

Susanne Stahr lives in the Frankfurt area. In addition to mathematics, she studied art education with a focus on painting. Painting and drawing have been a part of her life since childhood. She discovered her talent for drawing at an early age and, at the age of 10, found herself taking portrait painting classes for adults. She has pursued her creativity professionally and continues to guide children in their creative development. She also works as a freelance artist. Her current focus is on exploring colors and color nuances, which find their form in both abstract painting and the realization of motifs from nature, animals, and plants.
