The picture was presented at an exhibition in Chicago and received very positive reactions. It is a play between classic images of the Madonna and Child, but here it is changed: the mother no longer has to be a saint, but a completely normal human being made of flesh and with mistakes, but still with an inhuman or heroic strength. She protects her child with a boxing glove and the… mother and child appear to be self-sufficient.
