About this artwork
My central artistic principles here are layering, transparency, and repetition. The vertically staggered forms are reminiscent of architectural fragments or textile panels, without being definitively defined. I am interested in this state of in-betweenness – between surface and space, between rhythm and stillness.
The reduced color palette of blue and turquoise tones creates a cool, contemplative atmosphere. I don't understand blue as a mood carrier… in the classical sense, but rather as a carrier of depth and time. Through glazing layers and visible traces of material, the creative process remains present; nothing is perfectly smooth or finished.
The oval forms resemble translucent bodies or remnants of memory. They overlap without dissolving, and for me, they explore questions of perception, permeability, and identity. The image demands not interpretation, but contemplation.

My work moves between intuitive process and conceptual clarity. Through my ongoing series Zenpolychromos, I explore color as space, energy and experience. Using transparent layers, gesture and rhythm, I create paintings that invite contemplation. For me, color is not decorative but a living presence that opens a space between movement and stillness. Each work develops through a process of layering, reduction and intuitive decisions, creating compositions that balance emotional depth with visual clarity. Alongside Zenpolychromos, my collage series Fragmented Being explores identity, memory and transformation through reassembled visual fragments. My work invites viewers to experience color not simply as something to see, but as a space to enter. COLOR BECOMES SPACE.
