The artwork is created using an indirect casting method, where live plants are pressed into a clay matrix and then cast in sculptural plaster.… As the clay matrix is destroyed upon demolding, the resulting bas-relief is an absolutely unique, one-of-a-kind artwork. The botanical elements are painted with watercolor. The piece is presented in a custom, handcrafted wooden frame made by local artisans, equipped with professional wall-mounting hardware.
