Fire's Farewell explores the coexistence of two opposing forces: fire and water.
The blue tones here seek to soothe a more intense inner presence symbolized by the touches of gold and orange. Despite this attempt at appeasement, the fire continues to smolder beneath the surface, like a persistent energy impossible to completely erase.
The work explores this tension between apparent calm and inner intensity. The blue acts as a space for breathing,… while the luminous traces recall the continuous presence of an inner fire, an emotion, or a transformation still active.
